A Bunch of Bull

“It’s not like we have much choice,” she mooed, rolling her eyes until they nearly disappeared under the red and green flowers decorating her eyelid.

“Least you have flowers,” he snorted, “I got freaking leaves and some funky blue vines.”

You want flowers? I’ll give you flowers, she didn’t say. Right up your derriere.

“And I’m starved.”

“He promised it was only a week,” she reasoned. A week, for heaven’s sake. What had she been thinking?

“And what about these ears?” he continued.  “What are they?  Freaking seashells? Mouth end of a balloon?”

“Ears, dear,” she replied, sounding more patient than possible given the circumstances.

“My eyes are yellow, for cikes sake. Yellow!  What self-respecting bull has yellow eyes? Red horns?  What am I? The devil?  We bulls have a bad enough reputation as it, I don’t need some freaking artist…..”

She tuned him out. Males never changed.

She’d be getting that divorce.
