Question of the Day 5-31-2018

What is your favorite part of your daily routine?

It is hard to decide the best part of my daily routine. Part of me wants to say waking up in the morning with a whole day ahead. Another part wants to say climbing into bed at night. I think, however, the best part of my routine is on those mornings when I don’t have to get up to the alarm clock. When I can snuggle down under the covers with my puppy or cat, drowsing between waking and sleeping.  Those forbidden moments before I have to get up and face the day, make decisions about real things in real time.

If only I had those moments more often!

  1. I totally get it! I live in place that averages (supposedly) 300+ days of high-altitude sun per year, usually broken with brief episodes of snow. It’s made me appreciate the rains. But a recent two-week long series of spring storms has also made me appreciate how much sunlight affects one’s moods. I think it’s one of the main reasons I so disliked Seattle.

    • Thanks. I got caught on one question and couldn’t move on until I finished. Normally we don’t get as much rain in May, but my gardens are loving it. I enjoy it, but not day after day. It is true the heat will come back soon. When ever we do get sun lately, it heats up fast. I think of the heat at practice for Kentucky in mid-July.
